You can delete everything Posto holds about you yourself, at any time. This page explains how. If you cannot sign in, email us and we will do it for you.
1. What Posto holds
- Your account: email address, optional name and profile picture, sign-in history.
- Your connected social accounts: their identifiers and the encrypted access credentials the platform issued to us.
- Your content: posts, texts, images, schedules and publishing results.
2. Delete your posts and images
- Sign in and open the “Media” page of a workspace you own.
- Choose “Delete all posts and images” and confirm.
- Repeat for every workspace you own.
3. Delete your account
- Open your account settings and go to the “Danger zone” section.
- Choose to delete your account and confirm it with your password or second factor.
This permanently deletes your profile and your connected social accounts together with their credentials.
4. Remove Posto’s access on the platform
You can also stop Posto from posting directly in the platform’s own settings. After that, the access Posto holds no longer works.
- Telegram: remove the Posto bot from your channel’s administrators.
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, then remove Posto.
- Instagram: Settings and activity → Website permissions → Apps and websites, then remove Posto.
- Threads: Settings → Account → Website permissions, then remove Posto.
Removing access on the platform does not delete what Posto stores; follow steps 2 and 3 for that.
5. Ask us to delete it
Email hello@posto.run from the address on your account — for example if you signed up with a third-party sign-in and cannot confirm the deletion — and we will delete your data for you. We may need to verify that the account is yours.
6. What stays
Posts already published on a social network stay there: Posto deletes only its own copy. Remove them on that platform.
